Summary
DescriptionRafted ice Drawing.svg
English: Three-dimensional representation of finger rafting in sea ice, as it is often observed in the field. It occurs as two thin ice sheets (typically made from nilas) converge toward each other. This process can take place at a scale of a few meters to a few hundred meters. It derives its name from its resemblance to the interlocking of fingers.
